Galena on Fluorite

This specimen consists of a Fluorite matrix that is completely covered in small, lustrous, purple Fluorite crystals. Sitting on top, towards the back, lies a silvery-grey, perfectly cubic Galena crystal, approximately 12 mm across. Its surface is etched, but is extremely lustrous, creating a very attractive display. Classic and excellent combination material from Frazer's Hush Mine, that operated from the early 1970s until 1999.
