Copper Queen Mine, Queen Hill, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA

Price: £115.00

A superb specimen of crystalline Azurite on matrix. Closer inspection shows that in multiple places the crystals group into small botryoidal clusters. The shiny luster and intense blue colour will make this the centerpiece of any collection. The Copper Queen mine opened in the late 1800s and was the most productive copper mine in Arizona. Sadly, the mine ceased production in 1975, establishing fine specimens from the locality as mineral classics.
